UPDATED COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES AND FURTHER IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS

14 / 03 / 2022 :

Following the information regarding suspension of cooperation with Russia and Belarus, we would like to stress that the sanctions are imposed on Belarusian institutions and individuals, not on EU beneficiaries, and the Programme Managing Authority is currently consulting with the European Commission in order to ensure the interests of Latvian and Lithuanian beneficiaries. Lithuanian and Latvian organisations can continue their project activities in Lithuania and Latvia as foreseen in the Grant Contracts, but without any joint activities with Belarusian beneficiaries.

Lithuanian and Latvian beneficiaries will be informed of the next steps as soon as the Programme Managing Authority has more detailed information.

The Joint Technical Secretariat has also prepared updated Programme Communication Guidelines, adapted to the current situation, which shall be applied to publicity activities that are planned and, where possible, already implemented. Please remember to coordinate all communication issues and planned events/publicity activities with the JTS communication specialists in Lithuania (information[æt]eni-cbc.eu) and Latvia (latvia[æt]eni-cbc.eu).
