PROGRAMME

Due to the Russian war, supported by Belarus, against Ukraine all projects are being finalised only on the EU side, i.e. in Lithuania and Latvia.

The recovery of the EU funds spent in Belarus was initiated by the Managing Authority of the Programme.

In the Official Journal of the European Union L 292 of 2022-11-11 the new legal act was published. "Regulation (EU) 2022/2192 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 November 2022 laying down specific provisions for the 2014-2020 cooperation programmes supported by the European Neighbourhood Instrument and under the European territorial cooperation goal, following programme implementation disruption" enables the Programme institutions to succesfully implement the Programme.

In Autumn 2020, according to the protocol decision of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania of 28 October 2020 “Regarding further implementation of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020” the Managing Authority of the Programme suspended payments of funds, allocated for beneficiaries from Belarus.
