Short description of the project idea/activities |
Project is aimed at developing cross-border cooperation through building sports facilities to improve the quality of educational services, increasing motivation for sports, maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Within project will be created an accessible and modern sports infrastructure for involving not only children and youth in sports, but also local residents of all ages, from babies to seniors. One of the important components of the project is the involvement of vulnerable social groups in an active lifestyle and the fight against stereotypes existing in society that disability and sport are not compatible. For these purposes sports facilities, planned for construction and reconstruction, will include elements of an accessible environment. The following activities are also planned for the project: - Holding joint sports competitions, festivals. - Exchange of experience and best practices in the field of sports education and adaptive sports on the basis of educational institutions and local authorities - Companies and seminars for a healthy lifestyle |

The administration of the municipality "Yantarny town district" is looking for partners for joint submission of the project application for priority 2 of the program - "Creating an accessible environment for persons with disabilities." The project envisages both public events and exchange of experience, as well as installation of accessible environment elements in municipalities, such as elevators, audio devices for the hearing impaired and other modern systems that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. The estimated budget of the project is 500-600 thousand Euro. |
