Project description

Project “The Curonian Spit: fighting the fires” main objective is to increase Russian and Lithuanian firefighters capacity and cooperation, as well as inform residents and tourists about the risk of fires in the Curonian Spit.

During the project, the large-scale training and seminars will be carried out which will be attended by stakeholders from Russian and Lithuanian institutions, which will be managed by experts. In addition, firefighting equipment will be modernized and used for firefighting. During the project implementation, there will be safety warning signs situated in the Curonian Spit with fire warnings and basic recommendations on fire prevention.
