Short description of the project idea/activities

The title and the goal of the project: Farming basics training programme for youth of Kaliningrad Oblast in Lithuania. In theoretical classes, future junior farmers are taught the basics of raising livestock, producing crops, veterinary medicine, and business; the mechanization of agriculture; construction; business accounting; law; etc.
Practical training takes place on farms and at agricultural companies, processing companies, and research institutes. The duration of practical training is 1.7 weeks. Working skills in the fields of raising livestock, producing crops, veterinary medicine, business, the mechanization of agriculture, and construction and other abilities are reinforced and improved during the practical training.
To enrol in the basic farming training programme, a person must be at least 18 years of age.

The partner must be able to find young people in Kaliningrad oblast for training in Lithuania and to contribute 10 % of his share of the project.
